I'm an independent insurance agent serving Minnesota households through Preferred Insurance Services in Arden Hills. My work centers on home and auto comparisons, renewal changes, deductibles, and the policy details that affect a claim.
Most agents are happy to sell you the same policy you already have for a little less.
But a lower price doesn't mean much if the coverage is wrong.
I don't start with price. I start with a first-principles question: does what you have actually do what you think it does?
If you don't know how your insurance contract really works, you can't know if you're over-insured, under-insured, or properly covered. Most people aren't sure. That's not a knock -- insurance contracts aren't written to be readable.
Background and Credentials
Preferred Insurance Services lists me as a Senior Account Executive on my agency profile. I work with available carriers to compare coverage, explain tradeoffs, and help you decide whether a policy change makes sense.
I hold an MBA (Master of Business Administration). I also earned the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) certifications. Both certifications are inactive.
How This Works
We start with your current policy as the baseline. Then we ask: if there's a claim tomorrow, does this policy deliver what you expect?
That surfaces what belongs, what can go, and what's missing. Only then does shopping make sense -- appetite, deductibles, endorsements, claim settlement terms, carrier underwriting. The details that matter when you actually need it.
If a comparison makes sense, I can check available options across multiple carriers.
The goal is a clear coverage decision, whether that means changing policies or keeping what you have.
